Elections Alberta Releases 2023-2024 Annual Report

EDMONTON – Today, the Chief Electoral Officer, Gordon McClure, together with former Acting Chief Electoral Officer, LaRae Petrowsky, released the 2023-2024 Annual Report, pursuant to section 4(2) of the Election Finances and Contributions Disclosure Act and section 4(7) of the Election Act.

The report highlights:

• Key activities and strategic performance, including progress reporting on strategic objectives;
• 2023-2024 financial reporting, statements, and returns filed by registered political participants;
• Complaints and investigations conducted under the authority of the Election Commissioner; and
• Financial statements for the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer.
